This Privacy Policy outlines how DatePlatter Private Limited (“DatePlatter”, “we”, “us”, or “our” “Platform”), the parent company of ShareDrift, collects, uses, discloses, stores, and safeguards your personal information when you participate in the ShareDrift Referral Program (“Program”). This policy is binding upon all users who access or use the Program.

Your personal data will be held and processed in India by DatePlatter Private Limited, which in this regard is the Data Controller i.e., the company responsible for your privacy. - Referee Data: Retained permanently for internal business purposes. Cannot be deleted.
- Referrer Data: The data shall be retained until user explicitly requests deletion on the email id: support@dateplatter.com. Deletion may take some time and is subject to verification.

13. DATA DELETION REQUESTS

- Deletion may take some time and will be processed subject to identity verification.
14. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
Users under the age of eight (8) years are not eligible to participate unless they have their parent’s or legal guardian’s permission to access and use the Site, participate in the Program and they have agreed to the Terms on their behalf. Users must not participate in the Program unless they are at least eight (8) years of age residing in a jurisdiction where participation is not prohibited by law.
If you are a parent or legal guardian permitting a person who is at least eight (8) years of age but under eighteen (18) years of age (a Minor) to participate in the Program and/or create an account and/or use the Site, you agree to:
- Supervise the Minor’s use of the Site, participation in the referral program and their account
- Assume all risks associated with, and liabilities resulting from, the Minor’s use of the Site and their Customer account and their participation in the program
- Ensure that the content on the Site is suitable for the Minor

- Provide the consents, representations and warranties contained in the Terms and this Policy on the Minor’s behalf
All Users must possess a valid DatePlatter account and accept the Terms and the Policy to participate in it. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under eight (8) years of age.
15. GLOBAL USERS AND LOCAL PRIVACY LAWS
DatePlatter may serve users across different jurisdictions. This legal agreement is an electronic record in terms of the Indian Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules there under as applicable and the amended provisions about electronic records in various statutes as amended by the Indian Information Technology Act, 2000. This electronic record is generated by a computer system and does not require any physical or digital signatures.
This legal document is published in accordance with the provisions of Rule 3 (1) of the Indian Information Technology (Intermediaries guidelines) Rules, 2011 and Rule 4 of the Information Technology (Reasonable security practices and procedures and sensitive personal data or information) Rules, 2011 of Information Technology Act, 2000 amended through Information Technology Amendment Act, 2008 that require publishing the Terms of Use and practices for access and usage of any functional Platform. While this Privacy Policy specifically outlines rights under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 along with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) we are committed to respecting all applicable data protection laws in the regions where our users reside.
16. EXTERNAL THIRD-PARTY LINKS
The Platform/Program may include advertisements, hyperlinks to other Platforms or resources. We have no control over any other Platform or resources or contents available on these other Platforms, which are provided by companies or persons other than Us. You acknowledge and agree that We are not liable for any loss or damage which may be incurred by you as a result of the availability of those external sites or resources, or as a result of any reliance placed by you on the completeness, accuracy or existence of any advertising, services or other materials on, or available from, such Platforms. These external third-party Platforms and resource providers may have their privacy policies governing the collection, storage, retention and disclosure of Your Personal Information that You may be subject to.
