Please note, transacting over the internet has inherent risks which can only be avoided by following security practices yourself, such as not revealing account/login information to others and informing our customer care team about any suspicious activity or possible compromise of your account.

• Financial Details: Bank account information for processing rewards
• Device Information: IP address, device identifiers, OS type, browser type
• Location Information: May be collected for regional customization of referral services
• Referee Data: Details of the referred individual submitted by the referrer (name, contact info, etc.)

Note: Referrers will never have access to the personal data of their referees.

c) Information from Third Parties

• Social media integrations if you interact with our content through platforms like LinkedIn or Twitter
• Publicly available information from professional directories

9. USER COMMUNICATION

By signing up for ShareDrift, users consent to receiving:

• Transactional communications (account updates, referrals, etc.)
• Promotional communications (offers, marketing, etc.)
• Reminders and updates via email, SMS, push notifications, or phone calls

The aforesaid includes communications even if the user is registered on the Do Not Disturb (DND) registry. Users may opt-out by contacting support@dateplatter.com.

10. DATA USE AND RETENTION

• Referee Data: Retained permanently for internal business purposes. Cannot be deleted.
• Referrer Data: The data shall be retained until user explicitly requests deletion on the email id: support@dateplatter.com. Deletion may take some time and is subject to verification.

11. DATA PROTECTION & SECURITY

We use the following methods to secure your data:

• Data stored securely in our databases hosted on cloud and internal services.
• Sensitive data (like passwords) are encrypted.
• Regular audits and access controls are in place.

12. USER RIGHTS

• Access their data via the ShareDrift portal
• Modify their personal information from their profile settings
• Request deletion of personal data by contacting support@dateplatter.com

Note:
• Referee data cannot be deleted at the request of referrers.
• Referrers will not receive or access referee data in any capacity.

13. DATA DELETION REQUESTS

• Deletion requests must be sent to support@dateplatter.com from the registered email ID.
• Deletion may take some time and will be processed subject to identity verification.

14. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

Users under the age of eight (8) years are not eligible to participate unless they have their parent’s or legal guardian’s permission to access and use the Site, participate in the Program and they have agreed to the Terms on their behalf. Users must not participate in the Program unless they are at least eight (8) years of age residing in a jurisdiction where participation is not prohibited by law.

If you are a parent or legal guardian permitting a person who is at least eight (8) years of age but under eighteen (18) years of age (a Minor) to participate in the Program and/or create an account and/or use the Site, you agree to:

• Supervise the Minor’s use of the Site, participation in the referral program and their account
• Assume all risks associated with, and liabilities resulting from, the Minor’s use of the Site and their Customer account and their participation in the program
• Ensure that the content on the Site is suitable for the Minor
• Ensure all information submitted to us by the Minor is accurate
• Provide the consents, representations and warranties contained in the Terms and this Policy on the Minor’s behalf

All Users must possess a valid DatePlatter account and accept the Terms and the Policy to participate in it. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under eight (8) years of age.

15. GLOBAL USERS AND LOCAL PRIVACY LAWS

DatePlatter may serve users across different jurisdictions. This legal agreement is an electronic record in terms of the Indian Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules there under as applicable and the amended provisions about electronic records in various statutes as amended by the Indian Information Technology Act, 2000. This electronic record is generated by a computer system and does not require any physical or digital signatures.

This legal document is published in accordance with the provisions of Rule 3 (1) of the Indian Information Technology (Intermediaries guidelines) Rules, 2011 and Rule 4 of the Information Technology (Reasonable security practices and procedures and sensitive personal data or information) Rules, 2011 of Information Technology Act, 2000 amended through Information Technology Amendment Act, 2008 that require publishing the Terms of Use and practices for access and usage of any functional Platform. While this Privacy Policy specifically outlines rights under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 along with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) we are committed to respecting all applicable data protection laws in the regions where our users reside.

16. EXTERNAL THIRD-PARTY LINKS

The Platform/Program may include advertisements, hyperlinks to other Platforms or resources. We have no control over any other Platform or resources or contents available on these other Platforms, which are provided by companies or persons other than Us. You acknowledge and agree that we are not responsible for the availability of any such external sites or resources, and do not endorse any advertising, services/services or other materials on or available from such Platform or resources.

You acknowledge and agree that We are not liable for any loss or damage which may be incurred by you as a result of the availability of those external sites or resources, or as a result of any reliance placed by you on the completeness, accuracy or existence of any advertising, services or other materials on, or available from, such Platforms. These external third-party Platforms and resource providers may have their privacy policies governing the collection, storage, retention and disclosure of Your Personal Information that You may be subject to. We recommend that you enter their Platform and review its privacy policy.

17. CONFIDENTIALITY

You further acknowledge that the Platform/Program may contain information that is designated confidential by us and that you shall not disclose such information without our prior written consent. Your information is regarded as confidential and therefore will not be divulged to any third party, unless if legally required to do so to the appropriate authorities.

We will not sell, share, or rent your personal information to any third party or use your e-mail address for unsolicited mail. Any emails sent by us will only be in connection with the provision of agreed services, and you retain sole discretion to seek for discontinuation of such communications at any point in time by contacting at support@dateplatter.com.

18. SEVERABILITY

Each paragraph of this Privacy Policy shall be and remain separate from and independent of and severable from all and any other paragraphs herein except where otherwise expressly indicated or indicated by the context of the agreement. The decision or declaration that one or more of the paragraphs are null and void shall not affect the remaining paragraphs of this privacy policy.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and we will notify you of significant updates. Any amendments to this Policy shall be deemed as accepted by the User on their continued use of the Platform. Your continued use of our Services constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

Although we try to keep your information up to date, you are requested to inform us of any change referring to the personal data held by DatePlatter Platform.
